Big Al gets a HR ball then gives it to E-Money

So I didn't actually get the ball. I almost did. At the end of the day, E-Money got the prize and has the official bragging rights.

(I'm in the center of the picture with the cream Giant's jersey with the sling backpack on.)

I was at the Giant's vs. National's game last Monday to watch the Big Unit and the Gyros. VJ, E-Money and Big Al were hanging out int he arcade when Ryan "I have a 30 game hitting streak" Zimmerman launches his 4th hit as a home run. It bounced off of the right field awning, touched my right hand, rolled past VJ and into the hands of E-Money. My injuries are isolated to a few leg scrapes, a charlie horse and a bump right above my eyebrow. You can view the actual events in real time by fast forwarding to the 0:44 mark on this video. Watch as I bump my head against the rail.

Big ups to E-Money for the pickup. Bigger ups for taking the fake ball that he happened to have in his pocket and throwing it on the field to please the rest of the Giant's fans.

Big Al is a geek.... not a nerd

There is much debate in definition between "geek" and "nerd". I consider myself a "geek". A geek is traditionally one who is immersed in a specific subject. One could be a Mac geek and he would be an Apple, Inc. purist who only has Macintosh's and Ipod's as their equipment of choice.

Geek can often be substituted with the word "whore" in certain contexts and it is usually applied to females. A female could be a brand name whore such as one that only uses Coach or Louis Vuitton. A female could be a whore if she sleeps around with you and your friends.

(I would consider this guy from the Cheery Blossom Festival to be an Anime geek.)

A "nerd" is one that is an introvert. A person that is immersed in books and not into the latest fashion trends. A person such as Screech Powers and Joe Jeezy as depicted in the following picture.

(Joe Jeezy is an aspiring Samuel Powers... no relation to Austin Powers)

Happy Mother's Day!

Big Al's Special Sauce Endorsed by PacMan

Last Saturday night Big Al unveiled his 3 special spicy sauces to coincide with the Pacquiao - Hatton fight, a fight that Big Al accurate predicted on Facebook that Pacquiao would win. I've been working on sauces for quite some time now, and I felt that it would be a great opportunity to unveil them at the Fight of the Year.

(Manny Pacquiao poses with near life size bottles of sauce right after his bout with Rickey Hatton.)

In addition to the unveiling, Big Al would like to announce that he has an exclusive endorsement with Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao who happily posed with his 3 sauces:
Mayweather Mouthful
Hatton Hitman
Pacquiao Punch Out

Although the sauces are not ready to hit the stores, the crowd at Big Mike's place gave it really good reviews. I'll take all the feedback into consideration and probably have the finalized versions of my sauce come Fall.
