Big Al rhymes with orange

Happy Halloween! Sorry for the lack of updates. I'll get to them eventually. Anyways, here's my yearly Halloween teaser pic. Can you guess what I'm going to be?

Big Al is live on the scene

The Big Al News Network (BANN) has done it again. The CalTrain is late and being the good citizen that I am I reported it to the San Jose Mercury news, and I was written up:

I don't have anything new to report, but you'll see it here first

- Big Al from BANN, reporting live from somewhere near Palo Alto

It looks like they removed my quote, but here it is for the sake of archiving:

A southbound train hit a tractor-trailer truck on the tracks near the Broadway station in Burlingame about 7:30 a.m. today, causing trains in that area to be stopped in both directions while emergency crews race to the scene, officials said.

Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said the express train, No. 312, left San Francisco at 6:50 a.m., stopped at the Millbrae station at 7:17 a.m. and was supposed to stop in Redwood City at 7:30 a.m.

According to Allan T****l, a San Jose computer engineer on his way to work in San Francisco, no estimate was given over the loud speaker as to when service would resume.

"I was trying to reduce my carbon footprint but now I really would like to drive,'' Teruel told the Mercury News, while standing at the Diridon station in San Jose -- stranded indefinitely in the South Bay. T****l knows he'll be late for his 9 a.m. business meeting with a customer and fired off an email to his colleagues about his situation.

Traffic stations may call the Caltrain Customer Service line for delay updates at 800.660.4287, but no information other than delay information will be available.

Big Al has paved the way to 30

On October 2, 1978 about 8:15am in a little military hospital in the California central valley, a 9+ pound baby boy was born.   Wow!  The years have gone by quick.  Today is burphday #30.  Thanks to everybody that has reached out to me with burphday wishes.

I was looking at last year's post, and I had a few things that I wanted to do:
Join the mile-high club (no)
Be on To Catch a Predator (no)
Kick Frenchy's ass (yes)
Apologize to Q for all the B.S. that I've done to him (no)

1 out of 4.  Not bad.  Anyways, I don't have any plans this weekend.  If you guys want to grab a drink let me know.  I am going to the 49ers vs. Patriots game this Sunday.  We're going to have a small tailgate in the morning.  Let me know if you want to go.  (I'm also going to the Seattle and Jets games this year just in case you want to future plan.)

Big to the Al
