Big Al's nation is growing
I look over my web stats and I tend to forget that of the 15-20 regular visitors, I do get my occasional new reader. In 2008, I have been blessed by 2 new fans: Taylor and Austin. The Big Al Nation is growing.
(Alyssa, Austin and Steve hanging out. I went to their wedding a couple of years ago.)
Austin was born to Alyssa and Steve on March 2, 2008 at 8pm. 7 pounds, 2 oz, 20 inches. I predict 1st round pick out of University of Texas class of 2029, middle linebacker.
(Teri, Tyler and Ted. 3 T's. Sounds like a Filipino family's naming sequence.)
Austin was born to Alyssa and Steve on March 2, 2008 at 8pm. 7 pounds, 2 oz, 20 inches. I predict 1st round pick out of University of Texas class of 2029, middle linebacker.

Tyler Sterling was born on February 23, 2008 at 3:15pm. 6 pounds, 13 ounces, 21.5 inches long. I predict a starting right handed pitcher, 1st round pick right out of high school, class of 2026.
I've been attending approximately, 5 weddings a year, it'll only be a matter of time before I start going to 5 baptisms a year. I'm wondering if the western name thing is a fad or coincidence. Is the next kid coming out going to be named Tex? Anyways, congrats to Mom and Dad. I'll see you guys in 18 years. For Austin and Tyler, we'll start hitting the weight room on Monday.
